A most excellent story, DR Jrand71!

Now, doesn't the card being found indicate that it was filled out but never turned in to the Post Office?
In which case, what happened to the mail in those coming weeks?

Or perhaps this one was filled out, misplaced, assumed to have been lost, and another was turned in to the Post Office?

We look forward to your updates when you have gotten to the bottom of this mystery!

In fact, I don't think I shall sleep until DR Jrand71 solves it.

Leaving my own Petco, I thought of stopping at Shop Rite for a couple of bagels.

I picked up another of the lovely cranberry ones, noting that the cranberry bagel bin was NEARLY EMPTY, when all the others were NEARLY FULL. Did a legion of cranberry bagel obsessed HHW Guests see my post the other day, and start coming in to scoop them up?

Anyhoo...

I also picked up an everything bagel and just ate that one, toasted with butter, with all the little everythings that fell off it poured back over the buttered surface for maximum flavor and satisfaction.

So anytime BK mentions anything, it sells out instantly. Perhaps you, too, DR ChasSmith, have the power!

I had a moment of panic this morning when I discovered my wallet missing from my purse when I tried to pay for an oil change. They let me come home, where I found the wallet. I don't recall taking it out. I called them and gave them the credit card number.

So I am figuring that August 12 - TODAY - might bring something exciting....that somehow we got a message from the future....so we shall see what the day brings.

Amazing story, Jrand!  Hopefully, something exiting (in a good way ;) ) does happen!

Salman Rushdie was stabbed in the neck as he was getting on stage to give a speech.

Nothing yet.  Yes DR CHAS SMITH - I am thinking that since the one I found was filled out in pencil - he filled out another with ink and turned that in.

My neighbor Ann justr stopped by to bring me some shrimp dumplings from Vanessa's and pick up two weeks of mail I've been holding. The dumplings were a nice and yummy surprise and the visit was delightful.

Trump needs to be... You know. What you do with garbage. And I say that with love.

He and his supporters continue to rile the nation in gyrations. So unnecessary.

We are having a dinner at church on Sunday. I went to the restaurant grocery store and bought a case of broccoli and a case of baby lettuce.

There is so much broccoli.

Is that what industry insiders call "a barrage of broccoli"?

Listening to J.S. Bach's "Art of the Fugue." It wasn't written for a modern piano, but it sounds great anyway.
