I remember once seeing him at a new Italian restaurant in town. I was walking past his table and started talking. His face turned into a grimace until he realized I was talking to a friend at the next table. Then he stared as if he couldn’t believe he wasn’t the center of attention. I just ignored him.

Tommy Lee Jones isn't one of those people who, when I hear the name, I immediately think of a string of films I remember him in. But I think it's safe to say that I've always enjoyed him in anything of his I've seen.

Never made him grimace, at least to my knowledge. So there's that.

It is an absolutely beautiful day outside, and the temperature is 72 degrees. Summer is taking a holiday as a cold front moves through, plunging us into the low 60s at night and only in the mid 80s for highs...for a few days, at least.
