As I lay there wide awake from 3:15 to after 5:00 in the morning, I started occasional allergy sneezing. I still feel sniffly, so maybe this needs to be a Benadryl day. Tonight is definitely going to be a Benadryl sleep, whether I pop one now or not.

The hell with it. I'm taking one now.

Maybe it'll even result in a nap.

JRand, are you going to have some Indiana sugar cream pie for your birthday?

Lin-Manuel Miranda and John Kander are working on a stage adaptation of New York, New York. Maybe they can fix the character of Johnny.

I'd read that the new story will have nothing to do with the story of the movie.  They're just taking the title and the (four, IIRC) songs and creating a whole different animal.

As in, a horse of a different color?

HA!  Thanks, everyone!  So far so good.

I looked for the Marie Callender pie that DR TCB posted a photo of - but it was not in the case at my local WALmart this morning.....so I got a nice key lime pie.

The notes reminded me of what an amazing world we live in.

We can watch almost anything and hear almost anything at the touch of a button......something that was impossible when I was growing up...it would have seemed like magic!

And now - we ARE the Jetsons.

I would say I don't feel 72 years old.....but that's not true.

However I am sure theeder keeps me younger and more spry than I would be without it!

Then why call it New York, New York?  Why not call it something else?

Well, things look bleak. Randy just called. The buyer says he'll close if we drop the price by $30,000. Randy now thinks the buyer has been jereking us around all along to lower the price. I said take it, but Randy and Macbeth are against it, and they are the ones who screwed things up 15 years ago. I had Randy so mad he gave the phone to JoAnn, my wonderful sister-in-law.

I have no idea what will happen now.

I assume it's because of the song.. and name brand recognition.

Almost finished with The Littlest Library. The biggest flaw of the book is that the lead character hasn't read anything over the course of the novel. She's read everything already that she hands out, but she never reads anything. But she gets after people who don't read.

That's funny.  Should I skip the book?

That does not sound good, DR elmore3003.

What if you tell your brothers that they're going to have to start paying your portion of the property taxes, and they can just deduct that from your portion of the proceeds when and if it sells?

I still think (wish) that they should (would) just buy him out based on what they hope to get from any sale...but I know that that'll never happen. :(

Randy claims he cannot afford it and it will be a very cold day in hell that I ever become indebted to Macbeth.
