I finished cleaning out the main floor of the garage. It’s hot out there, and I am a puddle of sweat.

It is a two-car garage, one story.

I shelved a few boxes of books. But I also got together a couple of boxes for the library.

Does your library have book sales? Otherwise, they may need to add a new wing.

They do have book sales. Today, I dropped off more than 40 books on CD.

I was asked to write a short article for a local nature magazine. It came back with every sentence red-lined. Every sentence was changed. There was not even a phrase in there that I wrote.

It ended up on the cutting room floor, I guess. It wasn't in the issue that was delivered today.

I'm glad you weren't stranded, Vixmom. I was lucky the last time my alternator went out. A light was on, I picked up my daughter from work, and drove to the mechanic. They stayed a little bit late and fixed it for me.

I had several errands today, tattoo shop, church, party goods store, grocery and pharmacy and got all of those done except the pharmacy.

When I got there the line was 7 cars long so I decided to skip it and head home and go tomorrow instead.

As I was on my block the battery light came on and car started to lurch so I turned off the A/C and the radio and made it into our driveway without incident.

So Vixmom, what's your tattoo going to be??

So, tonight I ushered for a play called This Flat Earth.

I got down there at about 6:50...but I was supposed to be there at 6:15! I totally forgot!

Fortunately (or not, depending on how you look at things*), there were only about 50 presold tickets, so it wasn't very busy for the two other ushers who got there on time.

*Unfortunate in that there were only about 50 tickets sold for a house that holds 185 or so.
