I think it was DR singdaw who asked me a couple of weeks ago about my Access-a-Ride status. When I had my interview on Aug. 8, I was told I would hear something in three weeks.

Well, today I heard from them. I am approved until September, 2027! And they send me a laminated card with my photo. I am very pleased.

Wow! Fantastic news, DR elmore3003. Now if they could just get rid of the few bad drivers and improve their customer service...

Okay, folks. Who would be stupid enough to cook chicken in Nyquil? Apparently this is a real thing on social media.

Tuesday afternoon greetings!  It’s been kind of a quiet day, but I have 2 consecutive Zooms starting in about an hour.

Ginny, a name from the past came up today. Chardelle Weber (sp?). Did you know her? I probably asked you that ages ago.

Jrand, I haven't done the quote yet - have to find the music - it's not on my computer so I have to dig through some boxes.

Ah, yes.  She was editor of the Women’s Page in the local paper.  She and my mother-in-law were tight enough that the day after our wedding my picture and a nice write-up appeared prominently on page 2 of the Lifestyle section (or whatever it was called in 1981).

DR Elmore might also have a Chardy Weber story or two.

Thanks MR BK after an earlier post I was afraid I hadn't looked at the packing materials closely enough and had tossed it.

No rush......whenever it happens is fine.....

I watched Radio Days last night which always makes me laugh.  And of course the music is wonderful....I love the soundtrack CD although it doesn't contain nearly enough songs!

My favorite scene is when the kid is taken to the Rabbi by his mother and father and they all demonstrate how they are ones that should be disciplining him by showing their techniques.

She called everybody honey in a deep, gravelly voice. And she was the life of the party.

Her partner in gossip was a woman named, I think, Iona Asher.
