No, DR Laura, I cannot do the Ländler (however it’s spelled).

The best treatment for my carpal tunnel was a deep tissue massage on the back of my neck.

I feel like a train ran over me. I'll relax for a while longer, then I must get busy on compiling notes on last night's final dress rehearsal. Tonight is actually the final final, but it's also a preview for those who wish to attend for half price. So it's really a performance.

We lost a good week, maybe two, of rehearsal time due to the initial casting difficulties, followed by more damned conflicts than I wish to even remember, and a few Covid days. It's probably going to be a wild ride this opening weekend, then things should improve. The parts of the show that really work now are fine, and I do look forward to hearing reactions to it. But man, we are worn down to our last frazzled nerve.

Oh, my mind! I just made a complete fool of myself with a very friendly and patient Access-a-Ride scheduler. I had everything ready for him but the addresses to the places I was going tomorrow and Saturday. The poor man had rto wairt while I googled the necessary info. I'm usually better than this.

Thursday.

The CPA did his last bit of work yesterday, so we have paid the bill....and we wait for a check from the Dept of Revenue - and then we can make a LAST payout to the hungry bastards and we will be done.

One year to close a big estate seems about right.....but it seems to have been L O N G E R.

There was an interesting story about James Kirkwood, Jr and Rosalind Russell and his firing from the stage version of AUNTIE MAME.....in this biography I am reading.  ;)

Followed by a story of the meeting of the same two folks a couple of years later..... ::)

Hurray DR ELMORE.  Take that $$$$.

The closing is over. The property is out of our lives. The title company just called me for my social security number, so the money - God knows what the amount is after our deductions - should be wired tro my bank account any moment now.
