I have watched a few films on Netflix lately.
One was highly regarded by Stephen King, according to a Google news item. It is the movie called "Lou" that stars Allison Janning.
I found it rather moody at the outset with little done to clue me in on what Janning's character was about. It did become clear later on and it's nifty thriller at times. I recommend it reservedly...if you like films that unfold slowly and deliberately, this one might be for you.
One I wholeheartedly recommend and have rejoiced in is "Mr. Harrigan's Phone" starring Donald Sutherland and Jaden Martell. Based on a Stephen King novella, it's a curiously sweet, if sometimes violent, story that reminds me of the more pleasant, but creepy, "Twilight Zone" or "The Outer Limits" episodes.
I also started watching "Jexi" starring Adam Sandler. After an hour, i had experienced enough, even though 50 minutes or more remained. Not recommended by the likes of me!
