Well, tonight, I got through most of the show without a goober, but one reared it's ugly head near the end of the show...it was obvious, but I was able to get out most of the necessary information. ::)

I dropped the line, "You're in debt up to your eyeballs!" which sets up the next couple of lines I have, but then I think I sort of melded the other two lines together and barreled through until I got to the important line, which I did get correct!

Just saw your last comment.
Had a feeling you recovered quickly.
Possible that the audience didn’t even notice.

It's live theater...it is what it is. ;) HOPEFULLY, I'll stop making goobers onstage, because I DO (now) know all my lines.

No...it was noticeable, but at least it wasn't the end of the show where the murderer is actually revealed, and I know that THAT is what people really care about.

DR TCB made me laugh with some of his late-night posts, as always.

Thank you, David.  I am here for your enjoyment.

I have never read anything by Patricia Cornwell. After reading this interview I am rethinking that.

Has anyone read her books?

Lost interest after the second or third.

Today I watched three (count 'em 3) movies:

First, I watched "Hocus Pocus 2" on Disney+.  The three returning ladies were terrific.  They've hardly aged, noticeably, since the 1993 film.  Otherwise, it's pedestrian kiddy fare, IMO.

Next, I watched "The Langoliers" on YouTube.  This is the Stephen King TV movie from 1995.  I enjoyed it back then, and it's still very entertaining.  Poor Dean Stockwell plays a character he just doesn't have the flair for.  He tosses off some "dear boy" endings to some of his comments and it doesn't ring true at all.  Bronson Pinchot is absolutely mesmerizing.

And last, I watched "John Carter", also on Disney+.  I guess I'm one of the very few who find the movie extremely well made and entertaining.  It has a wonderful music score by Michael Giacchino, and it's beautifully produced.  Sets, costumes, special effects, photography are all first-rate.

I enjoyed John Carter, too. Definitely fun.

T.O.D.

I have never been a big Woody Allen.  I enjoyed SLEEPER.  I think the last film of his I watched / enjoyed was PURPLE ROSE OF CAIRO.
