Here's a serving suggestion.

The only thing I ever liked cool whip in was jello mold.

Saturday afternoon greetings!

I am pleased to report that Richard and I just spent a delightful hour (almost) visiting on the phone with dear DR Elmore.  He sounds great!

Got volunteered to work a fall festival today. My stipulation was that all I had to do was sit.

You beat me! But I did have to feed the cats and do my first eye drops before I could post here.

I did get a page and a half of six measures scored. Thatch came to help me. He chased a pencil, checked out all the shelves of music surrounding the work table, and investigated the tape dispenser, the stapler, the stapler remover, a few rulers of various lengths, and a couple of pens before he decided to drop from exhaustion on the spot where I was writing. After I had scrached his head, held him for a bit, and tickled him with my pencil, he ran off to other activities. Thirty minutes later, he returned and we went through the entire process again.

Then DR Ginny called.

Back from Hugo's and pasta papa, picking up packages, and checking out the new iPhone 14 Pro. If I want it, it costs just about zero, because I almost get full price for my 13 Pro, and the small balance goes onto my ATT bill - like five bucks a month for year or so. Not sure I need it. I also keep waiting for them to come out with an iMac 27-inch - there hasn't been an upgrade for two or three years now, so I'm wondering if they'll even bother. I really like that size screen, but mine is seven years old, has the old USB ports, which are basically useless now, blah, blah, blah. I looked at the 24-inch and it's lovely, just a bit smaller.

To clarify:  I left messages on DR Elmore’s landline and cell and he called me right back.

I think DR LAURA is right - although I am not sure DB's ego would allow him to claim that he was anything but brilliant in his own defense......

I seem to remember years ago there was a trial in which a man defended himself and then asked for an appeal based on inadequate counsel.

Please buy me a winning ticket. Someone? Anyone? I’d be grateful. I might even remember to say thank you.

Does anyone read the column AITA? It stands for Am I the A—hole? People write in their problems and readers post their opinions.

I find it all rather lurid and fascinating.
