Remember I'm not a musician Matthew. I think "Bounce" sounds like everything else by SS too.
The two people next to me at the theatre for WiW thought the same. Been there - done that.
Similar is a good as same to me.

BTW "After the same Man" is a good enough quote for me too!!

Love Amanda McBroom.  I just wasted over an hour playing that stupid game I haven't played in over a year - you know, that Bookworm game.  I don't know why I started.  Even though I was still going strong with over 500,000 points, I finally just closed it down.

...Well... After walking around the Vassar campus for about an hour or so...
There's something out of character about this statement...

Woody, the Santinis are a large moving company in NYC.
The line still made sense to me.   ;D

And, given the amount of trash generated in NYC... ::)

Try and locate the DVD of the film of "Whistle" with the delightful Hayley. My fondness for the innocence of the story and the characters has remained for 40 years. The book of the musical created havoc with the warmth of that film.
I have to look at the film and musical as two different animals indeed.

Would one of those animals be

 CATS?

Then I was whisked off to the Deli where I picked up a Spicy Italian for my lunch.  Then I joined the company after their lunch break...

:)

Well?  What was his name???

And speaking of spicy Italians, I watched "The Roman Spring Of Mrs Stone"(the remake) last night.
Why did they bother? I've not seen the original but can't imagine Beatty as the Gigalo.

Hmmm, my dad saw War Of the Worlds and really did not like it.  Apparently my brother-in-law's sister took her kids to see it and they didn't like it!  (the little boy just turned 5 so i was kinda shocked they took him). I'm assuming this one is really not for kids, right?  (he had to leave with grandma).
The film is rated PG-13, 14A in Canada.  Give them a rousing "Well, Duh!" next time you see them.

Mr Cruise's private life and "informed opinions" will not keep me away from the film. I quite liked "The Minority Report" but then it was not really an actor's film.
Normally, I wouldn't judge a film by an actor's personal opinions, either.  However, the timing of Mr. Cruise's statements about depression, combined with my personal experience with the disease, have turned me off at this time.  I'll wait for the DVD to see the film.

I play it every once in a while and it's STILL addicting!  The most I've ever gotten is around 92,000, though.

It's good to see Joey back last night. How's the toe today, Joey?  Are you home from camp now for good?

Just back for a week. I should be back full swing August 6th, but it may be later as I am thinking of doing a quick trip to New York before school starts in August.

TOD: The only one I can really comment on is Nat King Cole. I picked up a cheap 3 cd set of his music for ten dollars at Sam Goody back in December. I of course love his rendition of The Christmas Song and his version of Nature Boy gets a lot of play because I love the song and his is the only version I have.

I feel I should have some energy, yet here I sit like so much fish.  I've been watching the about-to-be-released DVD of season's one and two of Moonlighting.

DRJOEY glad your toe is doing fine.

DRJOSE - one of my favorite lines....well excited and scared.

"But at seventeen to Vassar it was quite a blow, that in twenty-seven languages, she couldn't say 'no'!"

I have the TROY widescreen edition DVD, and I like the movie - the story is mangled, or the legend is mangled, whichever - but it is fun to watch.   And everybody looks good.

DRJOSE if that movie was less than two and half hours long - it was a SHORT Bollywood movie.

It's a lovely day today here.

Many things were accomplished, NOT the trivia answer yet, but perhaps in the morning.....yes. (a Cole Porter reference)

RED GARTERS on DVD!

Livingston and Evans - Rosemary Clooney, Jack Carson, Gene Barry,  and Guy Mitchell!  Very good news, DRMATTH!
