Stanley Livingston reports that Dawn Lyn [younger sister of Leif Garrett] who played his sister on My Three Sons is in a coma after surgery to remove a tumor from her brain.....he is asking for prayers.

And PEOPLE magazine reports that actor Mark Miller [tv's Please Don't Eat The Daisies & The Patty Duke Show (pilot)] passed away on September 8.....

DR singdaw you are probably right - I am not a subscriber to either and couldn't tell them apart if DR VIXMOM's dental bill depended upon it.

Sadly, a lot of our stock of Covid test kits had to be trashed lately, as they were past their expiration dates.

Oh no, you didn't trash them.  Did you check the extended dates first?  They were extended between 6 months to a year.  Keith didn't trust our expired ones were still good, until both the unexpired, and "expired" showed positive results.

I am very sad about the attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband by a zealot with a hammer. The Jan 6th mindset is not going away, at least in some circles.

I hope that DR Ginny will report on whether her picture window is fixed. At ruinous cost, no doubt.

The window is not fixed, but has been assessed and the work is in the scheduling system.  The cost estimate was much less than we expected.

That includes rebuilding my jaw bone, 4 implants each holding three teeth, three extractions and two or three crowns ( I’ve lost count)

DR Vixmom, I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this.  When she was much older than you are now my mother was faced with a similar situation and decided she wouldn’t live long enough for it to be worth it.  Not having the work done made the last 15 years of her life quite miserable.

I cannot understand how, having survived cancer, corrective dental work is not covered by insurance. That is criminal.
