Well, you've read the notes, the notes were in the yard, and now it is time for you to post until the concert cows come home.

It's been too warm the past two days. None of us are sleeping well; me, especially. The other three residents of Apartmernt 3C sleep most of the day anyway. I knew that as soon as I winterized the bed, the temperatures would warm up. We're supposed to slide down to the 30s tomorrow, and that suits me fine.

I need to call Access-a-Ride - Oh, Joy! - and schedule trips to tomorrow's vascular surgeon. It's my only commitment this week.

BK, the concert sounds like a hoot. Congratulations! The locale, from the photo DR singdaw poasted, looks spectacular.

I don't know much about Mr. Bernstein. I'm curious: were these songs composed specifically for films? Or were they movie themes that got retrofitted with lyrics?

I was having exactly the sleeping problem you are encountering, DR elmore3003. It has finally cooled down here.

We've been watching the 1994 BBC adaptation of Martin Chuzzlewit with Paul Scofield playing two roles - very wealthy old Martin Chuzzlewit and his poorer brother - and Tom Wilkinson as one very funny and very opportunistic relative aiming to gain of old Martin's wealth when he dies. I had last seen it years ago and I remembered nothing about it. We have three episodes to go. Then we'll watch the wonderful updated comedy based on Dickens, Greedy, with Kirk Douglas and Michael J. Fox.
