Am recovering nicely from my surgical procedure of yesterday morning.

Am actually chewing soft foods.

The Drifters, The Platters and The Coasters did not draw a large crowd, but they gave an excellent concert. And the audience was very vocal.

Songs included Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, Only You, Shout, White Christmas and Under the Boardwalk.

I once saw Ned Rorem in concert. It was about 30 years ago. I don’t remember what of his works was on the program, but I did enjoy it.

Elizabeth Holmes got more than 11 years in prison for Theranos. She doesn’t have to report until April. Seems she’s pregnant and is being allowed to remain free until after the baby is born. I hope they keep a sharp watch on her.

Yup, there was a back-up. And even though I took the back roads (paved, of course), it still took me 45 minutes to get to my mom's!
