GIVING THANKS FOR THANKSGIVING
« on: November 24, 2022, 12:11:31 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes gave thanks for Thanksgiving, and now it is time for you to post until the Thanksgiving cows come home. The one day of the year they don't have anything to worry about, if you get my meaning.

I am grateful for all my HHW friends, and for BK for providing the living room.

The Marie Callender peach cobbler is something I will never purchase again: it's dreadful.

It all began when I opened a new carton of Fancy Feast cans of cat food and discovered I had ordered the wrong one. I went back and checked the original order. Yep, my error, not theirs.

I am grateful for the site, for the friends, and for the fact that I don't have to do anything today but stay warm inside, help prepare foods, and help eat said foods.

Yesterday I listened to the Met 1982 Hansel and Gretel and to DR Elmore's compilation CD of magnificent carols while doing my food preps, and those choices couldn't have been better. We'll have to decide on today's selections soon.

I'm sorry to hear the Marie Callender's cobbler sucked. I was buying their pot pies for a while, and now those suck. IMO, of course.

I am up and having coffee.

Feel absolutely sluggish and not ready for the day ahead.

In an hour, I shall be departing to meet my cousins for our trek to Simpsonville SC where we shall dine and make merry through the early afternoon.

It's about a 95-minute drive each way.

No snow in sight, but it might rain a bit.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, everyone!

I stopped buying the chicken pot pie some time ago. The filling was good but the pastry was like tasteless cardboard.

None of them will eat the Fancy Feast, Elmore?  Any flavor of that would go fast here! Mine get Friskies canned food.
