There were maybe six albums from Shadowland, a small independent LA-based label. I worked on every one but the three Kern albums.

He only wrote the lyrics for Lock Up Your Daughters, based on Henry Fielding's 18th century comedy, Rape Upon Rape. I think the musical libretto improves upon Fielding's play. How can you not love a musical with a character named Mrs Squeezum? Her big song is "When Does the Ravishig Begin?"

Check eBay. One of my favorite tracks is Ann Morrison singing "I Love to Walk in the Rain" on Sing Before Breakfast.
