I think I dozed in my meeting - it was really boring and the software being demonstrated wasn't really something I could use.  Anyway, home now, dogs are fed and I'm on my way to Matilda.

;D  I hope your dozing wasn't noticed.

Uh oh....

I have seen this and don't, don't want to, believe it.  Maybe if the dark sense of humor is something new.

DR George, I have put the dates of your show on our calendar.  I don't know if we can go in May but will try to do so. June is less likely.

That would be really cool!

First, and basically only bike, was a German made bike.  I had it through my childhood.  Fortunately a neighbor took the time to raise my seat once the bike was too small for me to sit comfortably.  He is the one who told me it was a German bike cuz he needed to use a special tool.

My sister took my bike one day and left it someplace because it had a flat tire and refused to go back for it with her car  >:(

I briefly had a piece of crap that Keith bought me.  It fell apart quickly and I never liked riding it.

I have started the recent film adaptation of Balzac’s Lost Illusions. One thousand-plus pages condensed into a 2.5-hour movie. So far, so good. But there is a narrator to fill in some gaps.

I was trying to hang on at least until page six, but I'm not sure I'm gonna make it.

So... is macaroni and cheese "mac" because it's short for macaroni, or is it because "mac" is an acronym for macaroni and cheese?

I've never thought (or heard) of this.  I have always wondered if people today will grow up not knowing that the "mac" of mac and cheese actually is short for "macaroni. :-\
