Methinks you have unpacked quite enough, young lady!

Nostalgia for my childhood is now countered by the knowledge that I probably smelled like a pack of smokes 24-7.

I never noticed if I smelled like my mother's cigarettes.

After an embarrassing date when the guy said I smelled like cigars (one & only. date) I avoided going near my father before dates.

I quit at 30 when the tumor in my thyroid was too big to allow me to smoke and breathe

So scary.

Got out of that forest and back home at close to 1 a.m. last night, and boy did I crash. A brutal day. But in the end, it was good. The practicing paid off, and the orchestra around me is excellent. I wish I were playing more than just the one performance. But I also want to sit out front and see it later in the weekend, so that works, too.

I want to see BOTH of those movies BK wrote watched yesterday.

Never have seen either one, and it sounds like a great night of purely fun movie watching.

I heartily approve the idea of a Zoom par-tay following the world premiere of Sami. As it happens, I'd just been thinking about those from the pandemic-era Kritzerland shows, and how enjoyable they were.

Newports were a rare brand.  When I worked at a service station, we rarely sold a pack.  And it was either to someone driving a foreign car or a really old car with the bumper held on by wires.

I LOVE Smash-Up On Interstate 5.

It starts out with the smash-up which is pretty well done.....and then we flashback and get the stories of all of those involved.

And Vera Miles needed a sports bra.  She does a running scene in which her ample assets go any many directions at once.
