We've had an interesting couple of weeks and it's probably going to become more so in the months to come. Richard and I submitted an application to the retirement community where his mother lived and it was accepted on Monday. That means we're officially on the waiting list for a house. There's not much available at the moment, but, in the meantime, we're getting our current home ready to list when the time comes.

Thank you to DRs KevinH, JRand, ChasSmith, and Singdaw for the vibes for Richard and the good wishes on our impending (but not immediate) move.

This is a step we've long intended to take by the time Richard turns 80. That gives us 3.5 years, but we didn't want to wait until the last minute and have to rush it.

Was reading that AI now has the ability to take a 3-second sound clip of someone's voice and generate an audio speech by that person of any length. The potential for fraud and abuse is rife.
