Both keyboard books call for endless pages of a fast repeated pattern in "The World Will Know", somewhat akin to the piano accompaniment to "Getting Married Today". And just when you think your right hand will drop off if it doesn't just seize up, there'll be a fast run that's probably not even heard in the mix. But you sure have to try getting it out.
It's the weirdest thing, because for both of us the song seems harder to get through now than in the early rehearsals when we'd just learned it. Of course, now that the kids know it, the conductor takes it faster. So that's one thing.
