As BK alluded to in the notes, it is always disappointing when a bad interviewer gets access to a good subject. I was watching an infamous Jerry Lewis interview where he is extremely peevish and short with an interviewer. Jerry was a renowned ass, it’s true. But when you hear the guy’s questions you end up sympathetic to Jerry.

“So, what was it like working with Dean Martin, can you share, like, some stories?”

I've seen that Jerry interview - the interviewer was a complete fool. Jerry usually gave great interviews when the interviewer asked good questions. He was very open.
