After Carson, I outright rejected watching Leno, I stayed with Letterman off and on, and in the later years I outright rejected Conan and the others. I finally gave up on the late night shows.

I cannot imagine my childhood being any different than it was. I was outside almost all the time during the days...playing with friends, riding my bike. I never see kids playing outdoors any longer. And there are children in my neighborhood.Well, there was one when I first moved here. His name was Billy Bob (!!) and he rode his bicycle all over my neighborhood. He was a good, decent kid with whom I had several conversations. He and his dad were evicted from their small house some years ago...his dad was/is itinerant. Billy Bob went away to live with his mom. I have seen his dad out walking from time to time. I have often wondered if he was on disability, although he walks well enough.
