DR Elmore, I used to live at the copy machines when we had an OfficeMax five minutes from the house. It wasn't uncommon to find one out of the four or five of them out of order, but in my experience it was never worse than that. But that was back when life was simple. They were just copy machines, the internet was young, and scanning and emailing such things wasn't yet a thing.

Your experience sounds like it's turned into a bloody nightmare. I'm glad that the little bit of scanning etc. that I have to do now can be done from my trusty (knock wood) CanoScan flatbed scanner right here on my desk.

I could be totally wrong, but I've always thought eating pizza folded over might have originally been a NYC street thing. I have no basis for thinking that. It could just as easily be a dumb jock type of thing.

I know people who do it who fit neither description, so go figure. But I don't, and shan't.

Power went out then came back sort of at half but none at all to all the outlets for the computer or microwave. Hopefully they’ll get it fixed soon

I learned, and the couple of times that I was around her when she fell, I'd just get near her (but not too near) and tell her to let me know if she needed help.  She never did.

I am on hold to speak to an agent at the Los Angeles international center to ask about my package.

There was an option to press different numbers for the type of music I wanted.  I kept waiting for classical, which never became an option. I was hoping for silence, nope.

All I know is that what I am listening to is loud and giving me a headache.

I''m reading that the trend began in the 90s but I don't believe that at all. I think it began in the last decade and it's just sickening. But you cannot ever underestimate what people will do. I just can't even imagine the pairing but there it was. And he obviously thought he was a real pizza aficionado because he folded the pizza over, something else I've never done. I know that's a think in NYC forever, but I eat a slice the way it comes to me. Folded over and eaten is too much crust.

When I was in high school back in the '80s, I used to put goop on my pizza when we had it at school.

Goop has nothing to do with Gwyneth Paltrow...it's kind of like tartar sauce with a little mustard and (I was told) was invented in the 1940s by the original owners of Eagan's here in the Olympia area.
