We finally got a break in the weather here.  It's in the 60s now and was only in the 70s today. Yesterday the air conditioning was out in our office building - and the windows don't open. It was 91.7 degrees in my office when I arrived at work in the morning, so I sent everyone home.  It was much better today, but still not back to normal. Hopefully it will be fixed before the next heat wave hits later this week!

I could never audition for Mike in A CHORUS LINE because the key the song is in, I suppose, is Wayne Cilento's original key which was too high for my voice. So, I made do with Greg and Don.

Ah, if I had a nickel for every time I have said that!

The storms here the other night were pretty bad.  It's the middle of The Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI)  10,000 people in tents and they got hit with 70 mph winds. Unfortunately a tree fell on a man from NYC and killed him.  Pretty sad.

-And the Clara for both productions was Celia Keenan-Bolger.  And she was replaced when the show came into New York, however, she got into Spelling Bee - and landed a Tony nomination too!

-Don't you just love happy endings?

:)

I do, and I'm SO glad you told us this. I had no idea, and it makes for wonderful journeys for all the performers in the final analysis.

We had no thunderstorms today, but power did go off in some areas of town on this the hottest day of the year thus far. What a terrible thing to happen.

Rather than watch another STAR TREK episode, I instead put in MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS and listened to the excellent John Fricke commentary. Enjoyed it thoroughly

I loved BB6 tonight and am totally enjoying reading on Canoe.  Kaysar really turned the game upside down and has made it so fun.  It's great to see them being so nasty to each other. So much better to watch than when they are simply nice and boring

Smoked what?  (Brand?  Or other?)

SPOILER

I watched the last 15 minutes of BIG BROTHER 6. Yep, I loved the Eric lemmings all distraught over his inevitable eviction. It IS fun when the tables get turned.

I'm watching The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit.  I hope the film ends sometime before 2007.

Der Brucer should be home soon, but I still want to be in bed before he gets here, just to make him feel guilty...or something...or at least force him into treating the dogs with doggy biscuits... ;D

Right now, I'm watching "Situation Comedy" where first time sitcom writers get a chance to pitch ideas to NBC execs and film a pilot.  It's quite interesting.

So....

Still weighing the options... This is something I will truly need to sleep on...

Should "...but it's Williamstown" be the deciding factor?

Hmm....

DR TPunk - Actually, now that I think of it, you may have an answer or two to a couple of questions I have.  Could you PM me or call me? - get the number from "the guy".  Just need to clarify some "personnel" issues so to speak.  Thanks.
