The PBS station here is showing Carole King in concert in Central Park. It’s from the Tapestry heyday. Every song is excellent. Watching her is a thrill. This footage, from 1973, has never been shown before.

Tonight's instalment is a concert of songs from a musical version of Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean by Ed Graczyk, called 5 & Dime: A New Musical, with book by Ashley Robinson (Brokeback Mountain, Fall of ‘94), music by Dan G. Sells (Brokeback Mountain, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie), and lyrics by transgender actress and activist, Shakina (Hulu’s Difficult People, NBC’s Quantum Leap).

Rodzinski, I type the notes in Word then cut and paste them into a program for the blog and post from there.
