DR Rodzinski, I had meant to post earlier how lucky you were to get a higher than quoted price for your in-laws' home. It's hard to curb my anger at my two foolish brothers, most days.

Thank you. If in-laws had done the bare minimum of home maintenance, they could’ve really made out.

My mom did quite a bit on a limited income.  She had the roof re-shingled and the master bath re-done.  Also had the house re-carpeted.

The kitchen needs an upgrade.  She wisely left if for me to do since she knew I'd be the one using it.  Haven't gotten to it yet, but I have decisions to make on whether to expand kitchen into office next door.

The longer you wait the less you are going to want to deal with this.

Yes, that is definitely an issue, but the kitchen needs work, and I need it to be right.

I watched a few musical numbers from the film version of HAIR last night, reminded of it by the untimely death of Treat Williams.
