Topic of the Day:  I don't think that I've ever been fooled by a phishing email or phone call.  Fortunately, I'd heard about these sorts of things and knew not to respond to them.  Not to say that it still can't happen, but it (most fortunately) hasn't.

Tuesday morning greetings!  We are back from a fun weekend in Chicagoland.  On Saturday there was a big dual birthday party for Charlotte (age 3) and Hannah (age 1), attended mostly by maternal relatives and us, the paternal grandparents.  On Sunday there was a nice Father’s Day brunch before all the maternal relatives headed home.  We stayed (in our hotel) until Monday morning.

The best plans of mice and men . . . I set the alarm for 5:10a.m. The alarm rang, I got up, dressed, and lay back down to play with Annabelle and Thatch. I clearly dozed off. When I sat up, it was 6:24. So much for my plans.

I had strange dreams and many, although I only remember bits and pieces: something about Funny Girl; carrying a raw egg to a bus trip to a political rally in Middletown, OH; and others.

I am horrified by this current sub disaster around the Titanic. I honestly wasn't aware of the 2022 situation, but I have the feeling the company sponsoring these underwater tours will be folding. I hope they can the five people.

I hadn't either.  My sister found it somewhere.  I don't know if she got it online or at a local gardening store.

I found another lawn globe, but the store didn't have a bag it would fit in.

I had to stop listening to that David  Pogue report about half way through because I find it so horrifying.

I am awake.

Have been for more than an hour.

Have had coffee.

Am listening to "Morning Joe" as I type this.

Donald J. Trump, the 45th president (lower-case "p" intentional), was interviewed on Fox last night.  They featured a lot of Trump's delusional answering of questions.  He still praises Putin and the Saudis, etc.

The show put together a montage of Trump, during his presidency, praising his political appointees to the skies and later, after appointing someone new, excoriating the departing as terrible, horrible do-nothings too incompetent to live.

Each of them tried to do their job within the law and would not accede to Trump's demands to do his will.

This is Trump.  He believes himself omnipotent.

I have a lot of in-home projects to get to.  I procrastinate, though.  It's not that I don't want to do them...it's just that I have a two-part chore -- one part is getting rid of things my mom left that I don't need or want.  Once I get that done, I'll have the room/space to get to part two: Organizing the things I do want.

It's a chore I despair over.

Me, too.  I have learned they have enough air for four days.  Two of those days have now elapsed.
