I am still a bit groggy, after a few hours of being up.

I think it's "holiday mentality".

We had a burst of firecrackers last night around 11:15 that woke me and sent Annabelle and Thatch into hiding for several hours. It's been quiet today, although we've had several loud claps of thunder.
