The documentary was excellent. Little Richard was a great ball of talent, a world of contradictions and surprisingly human. Fascinating.

Singdaw, I’m looking for new shows, too. Have you seen The Ambassador with Pauline Collins? It’s from 1998. I’m rewatching it. It holds up well.

All excited to make cottage cheese ice cream -4 ingredients!  I froze the ice cream bowl for my machine and put the ingredients in - and forgot to put the paddle in - so by the time I went to put the paddle in the mixture at the bottom had already froze and it wouldn't go all the way to the bottom and the lid wouldn't fit.  So I scooped everything out, put it in a bowl and into the fridge it went. Then I rinsed out the ice cream bowl and put it back in the freezer and we'll try again tomorrow.

I got not one but two consultations on separate visits! The 2nd, I was briefly in town for a Colts playoff game that turned out to be Peyton Manning’s final game as a Colt, though we didn’t know it at the time.

Now if only you had been in Baltimore the last time the Colts played there before skulking off in the dead of night to relocate to Indy!

The name Robert Irsay is still considered a curse word in Baltimore.
Or so they tell me.

Hi Iris!
Yes, Baltimoreans are still bitter about that even though they have their own successful team they stole from Cleveland.

Hi, Rodzinski!

Baltimore loves The Ravens, but the midnight ride of Irsay and The Colts still stings.

His son runs the team now. Much more sympathetic figure. Kind of a goof as opposed to the risible tyrant his father was.

Johnny Rivers has a hit song “Summer Rain” that says in its bridge, “All summer long we spent groovin’ in the sand. Everybody kept on playing Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.”

That song came out in late ‘67, the same year as Sgt. Pepper’s.

Yes, DR Rodzinski, Jim Irsay sounds like a good guy.

“I love Baltimore,’’ Irsay said. “I was raised there. I still get steamed crabs flown in. I have so many close friends in Baltimore. I talk with John Ziemann of the (Baltimore Colts) Marching Band.

“Baltimore is such a big part of my soul and my memories.’’
