The MegaMillions jackpot is now over a billion dollars.

Oh, my goodness.  I can't even imagine what winning that much would be like.

Futzed and finessed quite a bit. Sometimes I've written a line so poorly that I can't even figure out what my intention was. I have to keep reading the before and after and then I finally get it and then it's another ten tries to write it well.

Important envelopes arrived but rather than make two trips in that direction, I'll get it in the morning and go to the bank right after.

I had a Marco's Pizza but not the pepperoni - they had one I've been meaning to try - same price and they were doing 15% off, too. This one's called the deluxe and has pepperoni, sausage, green pepper,  mushrooms, and onions.

Went for a bike ride - only 7 miles, but it's a good loop for days when a short ride is needed.  I'm off to the first night of dress rehearsal.  I think it will be fine.

Topic of the Day (in alphabetical order):

  • 42nd Street (Yap - 26 years late ::) )
  • The Anastasia Affaire - 1991 Studio Cast
  • And the World Goes 'Round: The Songs of Kander and Ebb - 2014 Studio Cast
  • Anyone Can Whistle (Yap, 23 years late)
  • Brigadoon (McGlinn)
  • Cinderella: Songs From The Classic Fairy Tale
  • Colette Collage - 1994 Studio Cast (I especially love the artwork ;) )
  • Dearest Enemy
  • Drat! The Cat!
  • Eileen
  • A Little Night Music (Yap)
  • The Musical Adventures of Peter Pan - 1996 Studio Cast
  • My Fair Lady (Yap)
  • One Touch of Venus (Yap)
  • Roberta
  • Schlong's Punk Side Story
  • Show Boat (McGlinn)

42nd Street made my worst list because of the British accents being really off putting to my ear. Orchestra was good though.

I should still be asleep but Mrs R found a dead worm she thought was a snake and I was awoken to handle the matter.

That is what husbands are for.  ;D

Monday afternoon greetings!  Another sorting and shredding day.  I unearthed my initial Miami University appointment letter, dated 50 years ago TODAY.

Cue the “Twilight Zone” theme…

You should frame that!

It’s going into a scrapbook I’m working on that covers my life, birth to age 30 (when Richard and I were married).  It’s titled “Who Were YOU?” because that’s what one of your high school classmates asked me at the 40th reunion.

That will be treasured by your grandchildren!
