Good Morning.  Vibes to BK on a swift recovery.  Hopefully today will be better.

JP is recovering well.  He's roaming around the apartment with DD Leo today.  He seems to like the donut.  I woke up this morning wondering what it is that I am doing today - I still don't know.

DR Iris I am glad the damage to your little garden was minor.

Thanks DR Ron for the Haagen-Daz report.  Since I buy the mini bars and vanilla bean, as with Costco, it wouldn't make a difference to me.

Shucks!

I can only hope the Mega-Millions winner won't be donating anything to the orange one.

Sad that that was my first thought too. Why Florida of all places?

It hadn't entered my mind, so thanks for the thought ;)

Florida, hey? Hope it was the Vixter and Vixhubby

That was my thought, and a much better one.

The island of Maui is on fire.

I thought it was in one area.  I just adjusted a post on Facebook to a friend I thought might only be dealing with smoke.  I see now that power is also out in a number of areas.

:(

I saw a similar report that mentioned the fire was in Lahaina, which is not near my friend.

I'm pretty much just waiting out the summer now. Like I do every year.

Does it seem worse this summer?

Very good news.  The boys do recover from this, with fewer side effects, than the girls.

Hawaii state officials will host a briefing on the wildfires and the impact of Dora at 10 a.m. local time (4 p.m. ET) Wednesday. NBC

I just read this, and assume it will be carried live.

I liked Lahaina very much, despite the crowds of tourists.

There was an interview with a resident who said that the boats burned and that the harbor was gone.
I understand the boats burning, but figured the harbor would be fine.

Wouldn’t the fire be stopped by water?  🤔
