DR Jane, sorry. Offer the service tech some popcorn and see if they'll give you a discount.

Apparently coolant is rather expensive, and it has been awhile since we have had the units serviced.

We didn't like the original place we used, that at the time seemed to be who most people around here used.

There is an odd report in the news that the COVID booster may be more effective if you get it in the same arm as your last booster.

Keith just gave me good news, we only needed half the amount of coolant he expected which will reduce the cost.

He has sealed the leak in the line which caused us to need so much coolant :)

I had a day yesterday of watching various things on TV...mostly movies on Amazon Prime.

One movie, "Evil Under the Sun", depressed me when I am generally uplifted by it.  This time, it was the harsh realization that all the major players, except Maggie Smith, are now dead.  Gone.  Poof.

It got me to wondering whether they didn't want to go or whether they went on to a better place and left the rest of us behind.

I hope we have Maggie Smith for a good while longer.  She is still working.  I find your wondering very interesting.  I hope they are in a better place.

I hadn’t thought of it that way, Ron. But you’re right. Jane Birkin was the latest to go.

I began futzing and finessing around nine nd finished an hour later. Added a few lines here and there, tightened one section put by a few lines, but gained a page so we're at 462 now. Sent the pages to Muse Margaret.

TOD:

I started watching Carl Franklin’s One False Move last night. I loved this one in the theater, but I don’t remember much about it. The opening was so violent that I have to question whether I will finish it.

I just watched a video of the scary flash robberies in Los Angeles.  I hope these people are caught.

My friend Rachel Bennett was driving to family in Ohio, and her wonderful dog Malik died yesterday on the way. I feel so sorry for her.

  Anything in particular?

The Spitfire Grill

I love that show!  I've seen two different productions and both were quite good.
