Not familiar with that show.

The original cast album was produced by our very own BK!

Since it’s a late afternoon closing I’m thinking of finding a restaurant and having dinner before heading home

Not sure I have ever had a smashed burger, or if I did I wasn't impressed to remember it.

Good Morning - the site was definitely down last night - and so I couldn't make the quiet announcement that I was cast as General Waverly in White Christmas. Official cast list hasn't come out yet, so it's still quiet.   Lots of line to learn, and I'm daunted by that as this would be my first "real" role ever.  Always happily been in the ensemble whenever I decided to venture out on to the stage.

Other than that - seems like an ordinary Tuesday.  I might try and get to Tina!  The Tina Turner Musical this eve, or wait until Sunday.  We'll see.

Had he been involved with Subways Are For Sleeping? I might be conflating a couple of things.

Yes, Subways are for Sleeping was his project!

This is the first of many tries this morning that I could link to the Daily Discussions.

It seems that the site went down around 8:15 EDT. I kept trying to log on until DR Chassmith arrived around 10:45.

I had a lovely visit with Charles before Jason and Joshie showed up around noon. By the time they carried the nine cartons to the elevator, my walker and I were out of the apartment. We had a nice lunch which included a phone call to Jason from Emily Loesser! Emily and I spoke briefly. When dinner was finished, Charles went for his car, and Jason and Joshie walked me back to my building. I move so slowly, DR ChasSmith was waiting in front of my building. Jason and Joshie carried the cartons to the car, and we said our goodbyes. I had an epiphany as well: I wanted from my arrival in NYC to have a family at some point, but my dreams of a partner never worked out. Yet, as I hobbled up the street on that walker, I realized I had two marvelous sons, Jason and Joshie. Families are what we make.

I like James Beard-syle cheeseburgers, which have the cheese at the center of the meat. I could go for one right now.
