We are under an intense rain/high winds watch.

I tried watching Morning Joe earlier...and it was all centered on Hurricane Idalia's landfall.

On the one hand, it was quite refreshing to have a few hours of ZERO mention of Trump.

On the other hand, I wanted to tell them we have the Weather Channel for continuous updates about weather.

Oh, well. It's news. I only hope it doesn't do anything newsworthy in my neck of the woods.

I have hied me thence and returned.

In today's mail, a legitimate, Disney-issued CD of "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" soundtrack by John Williams.

Sounds like a ho-hum comment, I know, but it's an accomplishment inasmuch as Disney only printed a modest amount of the CDs in its first run and sold all very quickly. Little did they know that thousands of Williams fans would raise hell. There have been two subsequent re-dos by Disney after initially saying the limited run would not be re-done.

Good Morning - it's Wednesday, my official day off, but I'm heading to school in a bit nonetheless. I'm one of the Student Council "advisors" and we have our first school mass tomorrow and Student Council is doing the mass - it's also the swearing in of the Student Council. So, there I shall be. I'm playing some callbacks for a local high school this afternoon, that should be fun for sure.
