I am shocked, shocked, that we’re at the end of August. How does this happen? It shouldn’t even be allowed.
In an amazing coincidence, though, I don't know how I could ever forget such a dream, but BK's cockroach story reminded me that I had, literally, a COCKROACH DREAM, either last night or the night before. And I'd completely forgotten it. Till now.I hadn't had a good insect or sp*d*r dream in a while, so I was due. I was seeing these annoying brown spots in an old carpet, and as I tried to wipe them with a dampened paper towel to see if it was something that would come up easily, I found they were actually cockroaches that had been sitting there in the carpet, being very, very still. Well, you known how these dreams go. Before long, the more I tried to pick up, the more cockroaches there were, living in that carpet. La la la, la di da, la la la.

Good Afternoon - things are rolling quite fast today. the A/C finally works in my classroom (which I technically don't teach in) so that's nice. The official cast list for White Christmas has been sent out so I guess everything is official. It looks like a great cast for sure. I'm a little tired today, not sure why. Today I did make a concerted effort to cut back my coffee intake and maybe that's why I need an afternoon pick-me-up. Sorry for the rambling.
Meanwhile, no important envelopes. Not good. Hopefully, they'll both be here tomorrow.
