I had five books under the "Smart Tag: Notify Me" if the library gets the book.

I check my Libby wish list all the time to see if there is a book I want to read or add to my holds list. Today I decided to see if there was a book in my notify books list that I might want to purchase for our trip.

Finding a book from a popular author, and one I would have wanted to read for the trip, still wasn't available I searched the title again in Libby before purchasing it elsewhere. To my surprise it was there and I could put a hold on it, which I did.

This morning I walked 2.5 miles to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription and asked if the updated covid shots were available yet. I was surprised to get a "Yes" answer.

So I got the shot, walked home, then drove back to the pharmacy with my immunization card for the pharmacist to sign.

Our pharmacy we had to book the covid shots separately as they want to coordinate the covid shots to do one group per vial. They also have Moderna vs Pfizer and we want Pfizer. I need to make an appointment elsewhere for when we return.

I found the notifications setting on my Libby account and changed the setting for those tagged books. Hopefully this won't happen again.
