It was pouring down with rain many if the roads were flooded

I started to go out the office complex through the main entrance by as I was approaching the intersection I da2 flashing lights abd cars backing up, so I made a quick detour through another parking lot and went out the back way, went through a few side streets and drive under the expressway to pick up the eastbound service road
When I got to the entry way to the LIE I saw it was bumper to bumper so stayed on side roads and service roads all the way home
There were a couple of times I had to drive on the wrong side of the road to avoid huge , deep puddles but I made it home safe and sound
Once he got to Jamaica he realized the escalators and elevators were all out and he heard about subways flooding.
On his way home some idiot drove out of a parking lot and right into the side of his car

Fortunately a cop was just a couple of cars behind Vixdad so there was no waiting around and no nonsense about what might have happened or who was at fault
He’s feeling ok and the car is still drivable until he gets the insurance estimate and approval to send it to the body shop
