Just yesterday I looked down to find I had just missed my car’s odometer passing 111111 miles.  Would have liked a photo. Alas it was at 111125 when I saw.

Coffee Crisp madness! During one of my job interviews with potential coworkers they were quite fascinated by the idea of Coffee Crisps. I intimated that if hired, I would send some.

I did indeed receive a job offer. I pushed for a little more money. They budged a little bit. Not much. But I think I’ll take the gig after I get a few answers to a few questions on Monday.

Sorry your MRI was so traumatic, Ron. I had a not-fun biopsy myself. But it only lasted a few minutes.

There’s a missing man in my town. Wandered over the border from Canada while on a walk. He’s 82 and has some dementia. Was seen on camera walking over but nobody’s been able to find him. Been searching and have realized how much difficult terrain there is in this 4 square miles. It’s been almost 3 days now so hopes are not high. Unless he wandered into someone’s beach cabin and is resting comfortably. The other fear is he wandered out to sea.

Mutual friends of Iris and myself are premiering Studs Terkel’s Working for a run at the old theater I used to be part of on the upper east side.

New Beatles song better than I’d imagined but still a bit of a stunt, as far as I’m concerned.

Vixmom, where shall we meet at 11 am Nov. 11?

I'd suggest meeting at the corner of 11th St. and 11th Ave. at 11:11 on 11/11.

I mean, not that it's any of my business...

Well we will be at 11th Avenue at 11/11 at 11 am

Got a lovely belated birthday present, an autographed copy of Maurice Chevalier’s memoir, I Remember It Well. It’s in mint condition. I hope I can get it home in that same shape.

That's really cool, John!

Have you seen the Buñuel films the show is based on?

I have purchased them both, but I haven't watched either...yet. ::)

I was able to capture my car going from 9999.9 to 10000, but since it's all digital, it's just not the same as watching the all the numbers actually rolling around to the next milestone...but it's still pretty cool. :)

Rodzinski, if you want me to go back and see how many $0.87 Coffee Crisps are left at Fred Meyer, I can easily go back.

And I’ll probably just send a couple Coffee Crisps to my new coworkers, if that works out.
