Dog arrived at eight-fifteen. She's a big fat thing, but cute. Sophie is her name. I gave her a couple of treats right away, so she likes me. I was told she mostly sleeps and so far that's been the case. We took her and walked her around the yard but she didn't do any business, so before bed I'll do the same. She does shed so I'm gonna need a lot more Claritin-D.

Her big quirk is she is very scared of wood floors, so Skye brought tons of blankets for her to walk on and we made her her own little corner of her own little room. But she already has taken over the couch. We put sheets and towels all over the couch so shedding won't be an issue there. We watched some TV together and she fell asleep so I've just been sitting at the computer like so much fish. Will have to take an allergy pill, my last one, shortly.
