Years and years ago, I bought a copy of BROADWAY by Brooks Atkinson.  I'm not sure if it was Half Price Books purchase or an internet purchase or what.

I knew it was a Reviewer's Copy because it had the MacMillan publishers blurb letter inside and a 5"x7" copy of a picture of Jason Robards, Jr, Colleen Dewhurst, and Ed Flanders in "A Moon For the Misbegotten."

The copyright page said it was a first edition of the 1974 revised version of the book.

I assumed it was a collection of his reviews.

I picked it up to read a bit of it this week.....and it is a history of Broadway from the late 19th century to - I assume - the 1970's.

Lots of photos.  It is interesting.  I am still in the late 19-teens and early 19-twenties.....but lots is happening.

I like looking out the windows at the neighborhood Christmas lights when it is foggy.....very mysterious and glowing.

Of course they always look like that when I don't have my glasses on.
