That was a great cast.

Errico and Von Essen are too weird to deal with. I love Terri White, who was in the 2009  Broadway revival I worked on, and Jonathan Freeman, who was in the 1991 Houston Grand Opera production of Babes in Toyland. Malcolm Gets and I have been friendly since The 1998 Encores! Boys from Syracuse.

The one time I went to NYC, I met Terri White and got her autograph!

She was a bartender at the late 88 Keys the one night our theater tour went there, and recognized her from Nunsense and Barnum and other recordings.

Finished Hereafter - had never even heard of it and I thought I'd seen almost all of Clint Eastwood's films. I really enjoyed it, although I can see where others might not.

He's also extremely whimsical and he loves cats. We got along fine. Last night I sent him the 3-CD 1999 BBC broadcast of JUBILEE. He responded with this email:[

I got my mom a new phone for Christmas, but I didn't set it up correctly before I gave it to her.

But I didn't realize that I didn't set it up correctly until I went over to her house earlier tonight to show her how it all worked...

...and then it didn't all work.

Oh, well.  It'll be fine, and she still has the Jitterbug 2 ("senior") phone that I got her a few years ago, so she'll still have that until I get this new phone all set up, which I just now did.

What's different about the new phone from the Jitterbug is that the new phone is just a smarphone.

The Jitterbug phone was designed for seniors who didn't want a lit of technology to learn, so it only really has five buttons to do things.

I set it up that way, but it could've been set up as a regular smart phone, but I didn't do it that way.

The other good thing about the new phone is that it has 5GB of data per month vs. 100MB (yes, MEGAbytes) of data on the Jitterbug.

You can get more data from the Jitterbug phone service, but I remember it costing more than your average regular phone service.

AND this new phone costs about $10 less per month than the Jitterbug, so that's a big savings there, too.
