I agree he should be convicted, and that he should be punished for his crimes.  I'm just not sure that putting him in prison might not do more harm to the country than good.

Then what punishment would he get, if not prison?  Some are criminal charges and jail time is the punishment. :-\

I am happy to report that we never lost power, or had any pipes burst, or passive amounts of snow.

Good news, and Ditto here!

Thanks and good news for you too.  Did the areas around you lose power?  Portland was hit hard.

I don't know if anyone around here lost power.

I know.  I have read a few interesting articles on options vs prison.  These were not by people who like him.  Of course, first he needs to be convicted, not be elected again, or have a president that will pardon him.

I have started Reese’s latest pick, First Lie Wins. I don’t like it. Overwritten and underwhelming.

Good Morning!  Hiding out in my classroom as the kids choir has the music for the 10:00am, mass today.  At the moment, I'm, in the middle of WW3 with one of its directors.  She has a hard time remembering who's in charge and I'm tired of dealing with her.  While I may not be the director of the kids choir, it does fall under my jurisdiction as Director of Music... and that's all I'm saying about THAT

Matthew - vibes you're able to come to an understanding with her.

I don't believe that can legally be done.

I watched FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD yesterday for the first time in over 50 years.

I still like the movie and the performances......a very different time of movie making.

Both the novel and the movie were excellent.

Craig had a recorder in third grade.  I think he failed the course as he was not permitted to practice it.  Our poor dog would howl everytime he began playing.

Futzed and finessed, wrote three new pages, had chili dogs and having some red licorice. Then I'll watch something, then write more new pages.

On the friend, or on the recorder?

We only had 25 people in the audience (and they were a little sedate as compared to last night's audience), but they certainly enjoyed it.
