DR Matt, to offer an answer to your earlier question, I would think that Gypsy has the most English Language recordings.

My affection for Rodzinski is so strong that I attended a baseball game tonight.  I watched the whole game and didn't pull out my book once!

I'm not sure that I'd do that for anyone. Of course if there was a reward attached  ..!  Blame it on Jose.

Boy, I remember having to sit through a whole football game once because of a boyfriend...afterwards I felt it was best to dump him.

Back from a lovely supper.  Our potential line producer for the play is sleeping on our offer.  We hope she'll say yes.

Okay, someone give me the dates for the October hainsies/kimlets gathering.  I may just fly in.

The main events - walking tour with Jose and dinner are on October 5th.

The dates people arrive and leave vary a little but it's all the first week in October. Maybe someone else can give you something a little more specific

Shortly I shall be on my way to sup with Miss Tammy Minoff and our potential line producer.

I do want everyone to know that I went to The Apple Pan and had a divoon Hickory Burger and split some fries.  I was giving a Kritzer tour and it seemed like a good idea.

What is a line producer?

PNEUMATIC, baby, PNEUMATIC!

Of course we understand if some folks don't have funds.

I'm afraid lack of funds is all too common a problem around these parts.

Note to self:  Never make Ann sit through football!

Just as long as she doesn't mind my watching Seahawks games on TV...

A line producer is someone who attends to the nuts and bolts everyday stuff for the production.  She'll really be the producer - I'm just used to the movie terminology.

Thanks, bk, it's not the first time I've wondered what that meant as I've seen it before.

And just in case any DRs might happen to be in the area...

Triangle will be presented at part of the Williamstown Theatre Festival over the next three nights.  Thursday and Saturday the show is at 8:30.  Friday night the show is at 11:00.  The other piece that was developed here this summer in being presented in the "alternate" slots - 11:00 Thursday, 8:30 Friday and 11:30 on Saturday.

All performances take place in Goodrich Hall.  Admission is free, but reservations are highly recommended.  Refer to http://www.wtfestival.org for more information and directions.  On the News page, look under "leapFROG".

...Oh, and I'm the Music Director - as well as the "orchestra".  ;)

I was window shopping for new school clothers for the Vixter the other day and I saw this in the Express

Now I know I am "getting up there" and I am so uncool that I'm not even sure what the cool word for "cool" is these days, but if a see a pair of jeans like this  they are destined for the garbage. Do people really pay $88 for a pair like this?

I am counting on you "with-it" younguns out there to tell me - Am I really THAT out of step with mainstream fashion?

Well...  If you check out the two articles from The Washington Post I linked to above, you'll find out that $88 is on the low end of the price scale.

It's just interesting how the whole distressed denim look comes and goes in waves - pretty "frequent" waves.  I seem to remember the last crest being only three or four years ago.

...And on that note, I believe I shall retire for the evening.  Thankfully, we're not called until 6:30 tomorrow evening, so I can actually sort of have a day off.  I may try to hop on the bus down to North Adams and finally check out Mass MoCA - although a bunch of people I talked to today said the current round of exhibits there are good, but may leave one a bit disturbed.  So... We shall see...  But until the morning...

Goodnight.

My DVD to the first season of "The Muppet Show" finally arrived today!!  I LOVE THIS SHOW!!  I've watched the episodes with Valerie Harper, Ethel Merman (both from disc 4) and Juliet Prowse, Connie Stevens, Joel Grey and Ruth Buzzie (from disc 1).  Seeing these brings back so many memories...all good!

I'm going to say good night and watch more of "The Muppet Show."

Good night!
