Damn! Damn! Damn!  Several weeks ago I sent DRGinny as a lark the CD of the dreadful MARIE CHRISTINE, and now Paypal think her address is my primary one.  As a result, I believe everything I purchased around 4 hours ago is being sent to her home in Ohio!

Well, DR elmore, do you want me to send your purchases or just hold them here until your visit next month?

I'm going to have to pull out SPORTS NIGHT to get some happy images of the gorgeous Peter Krause back on my TV screen.

Absolutely one of my favorite shows.  Deserved far more than a two-season run.  How I wish Aaron Sorkin would start writing a new series!  Perhaps I'll have to throw in a few episodes myself...

"bye bye bitches":  It was too funny!

Second favorite quote of the television year.  (Right after "Is this because I am a lesbian?")

Media Check:
VCR:  Tape set for tomorrow's BB6
DVD:  We are up to the next to last episode of Season 4 of QAF.  We are dreading having to wait until February for the 5th season to come out on dvd.  (No pun intended.)
Car: Radio
CD/Office:  DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS

On the subject of waffles, one of the favorite misheard lyrics of a friend who saw STREET SCENE in London was that when they sang "Ain't it awful the heat, ain't it awful?" he could have sworn they were singing "Ain't it waffle, the heat, ain't it waffle?"

DR FJL, where did you go to high school?  Lincoln?  Sheepshead Bay?

DR Jennifer:  I'd vote out Maggie.  She's the glue that holds "the friendship" together.  Without her level-headed attitude -- which is being more and more tested by the stupidity of her alliance -- they will totally disintegrate into squabbling idiots.

Recall Jenn's "suggestion" last night...that if it came to voting off someone who was "brought" into the competition (like April, Maggie or Beau) or for someone who "wanted" to compete (like her, and Ivette), Jenn suggested they vote off the former.  Wasn't Jenn "clever" to suggest something that targeted her for backstabbing.

She's too stupid to go out into public without a family guardian, IMO.

Ah - I sympathize, DRELMORE.  I once had to change my PayPal password, and their site is NOT user friendly.  You have to spend hours trying to find the right link to click to contact ANYBODY.

My favorite is the circle you get sent around in that ends:  Does this answer your question?  Was this page helpful?  Nearly as bad as its partner in crime EBAY.

Good question, DRGinny.  I'm having a hell of a shipping week.  I sent some things DRJoey purchased and couldn't carry back with him via Fed Ex to Indiana:  Fed Ex has tried twice to deliver them and no one's there to accept them.  Joey isn't returning calls to me or to Fed Ex so I'm thoroughly out of joint on shipments this week.  Add to that, the DARLING OF THE DAY debacle and today's disastrous eBay/Paypal situation, I can't think and my head hurts.  I guess you should hold onto them.  Oy!

Another "Big Brother 6" tidbit (not a spoiler):

Among the disciples, Maggie is the ONLY one who has won a competition (excluding James who isn't a member of either side).

April, Jennifer, Ivette and Beau are all no-shows in terms of actually winning a competition.

Jennifer was "given" the HOH comp.  It counts as a win, but she had to lie and swear on her life (which, by my reckoning, is now "forfeit" to Kaysar) for him to withdraw.  I refuse to consider it a "win" because of that.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

: )

Rachel, Howie and Janelle have each been HOH.  Rachel has also won a Veto competition.  I still believe they're smarter/abler than the entire "friendship".

DR GEORGE where is the Japanese Gaston?

Of course, if I had read this when I was at home this morning, I could have scanned it quickly and added the picture (there is at least one), but I'm at work now and won't be able to do it until I get home...maybe at lunch time.  I have to walk my sister's dog.  We'll see if I have time then.  But definitely, I'll be able to scan it tonight.

DR Stuart - I went to the Yeshivah of Flatbush High School, near the Avenue J station on the D line.  My brother graduated from Lincoln High, though.

As I approach senior membership, I'm starting to consider what to use as an avatar.  Do people generally use current pictures?  Or is it OK to use a photo from days gone by, even if it's not entirely recognizable as oneself?

I'm scared!

Whatever happened to that production of 7 BRIDES FOR 7 BROTHERS that had been running for years and NEVER paid or returned for their materials?

And who has the job of checking to make sure everything is erased?  I get books with pencil marks ALL THE TIME?

"Big Brother 6" Spoilage:

Last night's twist was neat.  I loved everything that happened.  The MAIN thing is for either Rachel or Howie to win the next HOH competition.  If they don't, it's over...except for the shouting.

One thought:  If either Rachel or Howie represents Janelle in veto competition and wins, they should consider saving Jennifer and replacing her with James.  That way, they force "the disciples" to finally vote James off.  I know it's tempting to ignore James, but he must go.  Remember Will Kirby!!!  Everyone thought Will was insurance and that no one would vote for him if he was standing at the end.  But he won.

I pray Rachel or Howie wins the next HOH and puts up April and Ivette (unless Jennifer is still there...I'd substitute Jenn for April...make April suffer in the house as long as possible, I would).

MORE BB6 SPOILAGE

I don't think they should put James up.  He isn't really part of the 5 that have stuck together. I would make sure it's one of them that leaves. Their alliance must lose someone for Howie Janelle and Rachelle to have a chance at all

SEVEN BRIDES is still running at Discoveryland. They tend to pay a year late, but they pay, so we don't say much.

Technically, it is the job of the theatre that is renting the materials to erase the materials before they ship them back to us.  As you can see, that doesn't happen very often, and our materials get turned around and shipped out almost immediately to the next group, so sometimes they become a tad neglected. Next time it happens, please call me and let me know so I can make a note of it in your account to ensure you won't be billed for the damages.

BIG BROTHER LIVE FEEDS SPOILERSI also loved, loved loved everything about last night (except kaysar going).  But i disagree that they should vote out james.  I really think they need to keep him and try to use him right now.

But who would you vote off between maggie and jen?

MORE SPOILAGE

I would vote off Maggie.  She is such a strong part of their alliance, she needs to go.  Jen won't last the distance. Although, it would separate another pair to take her out and April would be lost without her
