Had hot pot tonight. Nice mix of shrimp, scallops, ribeye, lobster ball, fish ball, daikon, cabbage, mushrooms, fish cake.

Thanks, everyone.

I was feeling bad all day - but no real results, so that was nice.

I just hope to have a good sleep tonight.

During World War II, Hitchcock directed two films for the British war effort. They never used them. Watching the first, Bon Voyage.

My dinner was exceptional this evening!!!

I had a 10-ounce rib eye, medium rare, with a baked potato and broccoli.  The baked potato was loaded with butter and sour cream, too!  It was so scrummy, I did not leave a single scrap on my plate.

Conversation was wonderful, too!  Had a great time.

Of course, all good things must come to an end.

I returned home faced with giving myself not only my weekly Trulicity injection (for my A1C) and my daily insulin injection, but I also had to give myself my first self-administered Dupixent injection.

I watched a video, did all that was directed, and then gave myself the injection.  Surprisingly, it did not sting like the first two shots I got two weeks ago in the backs of each arm.  This time, I injected into my upper right thigh.  My trick was to numb the area with an ice pack first, and that seemed to be the best way to experience the injection as I only started feeling anything after the injection was over.  I still have a small lump on my thigh, but it is much diminished from what it was.

I can do this every two weeks, I feel sure.

I was watching "True Detective: Night Country" episode four while doing my injections.

When discussing Jardiance, could you rhyme its name with nuisance?

The Steve Miller Band certainly could make that rhyme work.

I had a laugh over one person saying her neighbor ran outside screaming and she didn't feel it.

It was at 1:47pm and everyone is fine.  It was only 4.6.

Glad that everyone is fine!

Ditto!
