DR JOHN G it's fast food chicken - certainly not for the educated palate - but well prepared and my chicken club meal with fries and medium drink was only $10.69.

And it's not a club club - but served on a bun with special sauce.

The s*** has stopped, and I’m slowly getting myself ready to go out there. I wonder how easy or hard the clearing is going to be this time. I’ll measure a couple of places but I believe we’re looking at a good ten inches of … you know, stuff.

Oh, my goodness! :o We rarely get that much around here...thankfully.

New term, approved by Dictionary.com for inclusion:

Girl dinner (noun): “An often attractively presented collection of snacks that involve little preparation, such as small quantities of cold cuts, cheese, fruit, cherry tomatoes, etc., deemed sufficient to constitute a meal for one.”

I have been having girl dinners for decades. I always called it a charcuterie plate or just dinner.

I don’t think I have ever had a “girl dinner”

I remembered seeing on the Community FB site that there were some young teen brothers who were clearing driveways, pathways and cars  for $40 all

We have a double driveway so I offered them $60 ( since the path and porch was already done) and they happily agreed .

Went out for Thai food with friends. I had red curry pumpkin with chicken. Spicy and delicious.

We had an appetizer called Moo Ping. I thought it should have been beef, given the name. But it was grilled pork marinated in a garlic sauce. Most wonderful. I didn’t moo.

I’m now starting Rabbit-Proof Fence, which I haven’t seen since it was in the theater. Loved it then.
