Band rehearsal just ended. We finished act one and got through most of act two. The concert master's playing is amazing, and he's tossing off those solo scales and arpeggios like they were nothing. I love the saxes, and I think it's sounding quite nice.

Due to planned maintenance, the water to the building was shut off from 9:00am until about 4:30pm. And even though I had saved water in the bathtub to be able to flush the toilets, we were alerted not to flush them.

Then, once the water was off, the toilet valve in the wall, which we have been telling management needed to be replaced for over a year, started gushing water. It went all over the bathroom floor, and then started seeping into our foyer.
