We took a train once from Bloomington, IL, into Chicago for ALA. It was the day of the celebration for the Black Hawks’ Stanley Cup victory and the train was full of fans.

Thanks DR George for the paper tech explanation. It's interesting to hear these things from a stage manager perspective. When I hear "tech rehearsal" I think of fun things like cue-to-cue.

I once attended a conference at Indiana University and we got a tour of the main theater. I recall that the backstage and wings are all the same size as the main stage. And of course their main stage is far larger than our little stage. Heck, at our theater you have to go outside to cross.
