After yesterday's posts, I feel as though I have been on a tour of Michigan.
Richard seems somewhat better. Sitting in the sun for a couple of hours helped a lot.

We had a perfect view from our new patio. I was surprised at how dark it DIDN’T get until the very last second. Even then it was just kind of dusky, but we did see an “evening” star. During the 90 seconds we had of totality, we removed our glasses (as instructed) and it was awesome. We could hear the folks cheering from the watch party outside the community apartment building.
Totality was only hampered by the TRUMSTER neighbors and their illiterate comments.
I took a few pictures and I will see if they are worth posting tomorrow.It was most impressive.

My steri-strips that are supposed to hold the incision together for a bit longer are already falling off.
