Back from a wonderful piano recital. The widow of the famed pianist Leon Fleisher, who is a fine pianist in her own right.
Then, near the end of his life, he tried a stem cell therapy and regained the use of his right hand for playing.
Somehow during my air travel I lost the two cup-like ear pad things from my AirPods headphones. What a pain. Meant I couldn’t hear anything I watched on the airplane flights home. (If I tried to listen without the covers, I got painful swirling squeaks in both ears.)
Oppenheimer, which I liked the lead performance but found the narrative a bit confusing and jumpy. Been doing some research to find out what liberties were taken with the truth. All in all, a watchable film.I was kind of glad to not have to listen to what the closed captions constantly referred to as “eerie music intensifies.”
