I'm up and at 'em a little early so I can give Mikey a Gabapentin three hours before his appointment. He's a "red dot" cat at the vet, so that's routine for him, to keep him a little calmer and quieter. It also leaves him loopy as hell for the rest of the day, which I don't love but I can deal with it.

Well it is opening night.

I also have to work in the box office tonight - but hopefully I will be able to leave for a few minutes to be in the circle at 7:20 p.m.

I was looking forward to the next couple of days off, but the director asked me last night: "You're going to be here every night, right?"

It seems he wanted me to check makeup & wigs and make sure everyone looks okay....so I said...."Uh.....yes if you want me to be."

This credit card system is going to be the END of me....THE END OF ME.

You have to ring everything up - even cash transactions....so it is a long drawn out process with lots of taps and back and forth....and don't forget the 5% convenience fee!
